Cathy’s training has included a variety of workshops and classes with prominent artists to include David Leffel, Robert Liberace, and Burton Silverman. She has also attended several two-week workshops at the Academy of Fine Arts in Russia. Cathy is a member the International Guild of Realism (IGOR), the Oil Painters of America (OPA) and the National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society (NOAPS).

I paint in order to explore and reflect on a moment in time. My goal is to tell a story through the interplay of colors, forms, tones, and textures. To capture a moment and share that with the viewer, connecting at both an intellectual and emotional level.
