Bio
Joseph Bellofatto is a fine artist who works primarily in oils and graphite and currently resides in the Raleigh, North Carolina metro area. He originally began in the illustration field but then later moved to crafting his own ideas and shifted to original fine art work. In between he briefly worked as a graphic designer. His work is primarily that of ‘Imaginative Realism’ (heroic/romantic fantasy and various mythological themes), over the past decade his work has appeared in art galleries across the continental US. Over the past decade his work has been selected to appear in the Infected By Art (IBA) yearly art annual and three times nominated for the annual Chesley Awards. The artist is an Associate Artist with the Art Renewal Center (ARC) and the International Guild of Realism (IGOR) for which his work has been selected for regional and/or national exhibitions or as a finalist in the annual ARC Salon competition, in both the painting & drawing categories.
