Lisa Galloway Sprietsma was raised in rural Wisconsin surrounded by horses and cows. After much traveling, she settled in Arizona. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Arizona. She lives on the San Pedro River with her husband, horses, dogs, and cats.
