Bio

There is nothing more beautiful than God’s creation of our natural surroundings. Landscapes of color in perfect harmony created by the individual beauty of trees, grasses, and flowers, highlighted by the rising and setting sun provide us with a sense of hope and joy. So much of our busy lives are surrounded by neutrals, and grays we don’t often take the time to stop and really look at our surroundings. My paintings are created with intention to break this monotony and bring the beauty of the outdoors into our homes. I capture landscapes, birds, and flowers in bold colors to invoke excitement and happiness in the viewer in the hopes their joy will transcend into their daily lives making our world a kinder, happier place.

Nancy Breiman Biography

Retired from corporate America after a 35-year career with IBM, Nancy is a professional artist with a dedicated home studio and gallery in Scottsdale, Arizona where she paints primarily in oil, but also enjoys watercolor, mixed media painting and ceramics. Throughout her career she traveled the world and always made time to explore the local surroundings. Being especially drawn to flowers, she paints from her photo collection of her years of travel. Nancy uses bright, brilliant color to capture her subjects. Color sparks joy in her world and she seeks to create joy in others’ lives through her paintings.

You can see Nancy’s work at The Finer Arts Gallery in Cave Creek, Arizona, and online at Camelback Gallery. Nancy has won several awards from Camelback Gallery and the Arizona Art Alliance and has displayed in the famous Salmagundi Gallery in New York City. She is a juried member of Oil Painters of America (OPA), American Artists Professional League (AAPL), the National Oil & Acrylics Painters’ Society (NOAPS), and the Sonoran Arts League. She is an active member of the AZ Art Alliance and Arizona Artists Guild. She is also a volunteer, and instructor with the Sonoran Arts League where she shares her passion for art by teaching workshops for the Veterans, Youth, and the public
