With Oklahoma and Kansas roots in his background, Tom draws from that foundation to overcome a lifetime of obstacles and emerge through pure grit and determination to paint the lifestyle he loves. Tom’s work has been juried into national and international exhibitions. It has appeared in several issues of Western Art Collector magazines where he was honored with the Editor’s Choice Award. He’s been featured at the Western Heritage Art Show, Henderson Gallery, in Sweetwater, Texas and the Tom Powers Futurity at the World Equine Center, Ocala, Florida. He is represented by the Adobe Art Gallery at the Stockyards in Fort Worth, Texas.
